Tectonic Theater Project and The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture have announced an array of programs to accompany the New York premiere of Uncommon Sense, written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris and directed by Andy Paris, produced by Tectonic Theater Project under the artistic direction of Mois s Kaufman.

Kickshaw Theatre, Ann Arbor's pop-up professional theatre, is pleased to announce their 2017-18 season. With two full productions, a musical revue fundraiser, and staged readings, this season will be Kickshaw's most ambitious since the company's founding in 2015. Spy or poetess? Lust or love? Wrong or righteous? History or comedy? Maiden Phoenix Theatre Company and Simple Machine present the brilliant and bawdy Or, by Liz Duffy Adams, September 8 through 23 at the newly-opened black box at Chelsea Theatre Works in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (OSP) presents William Shakespeare's Hamlet directed by D.Lance Marsh, the production runs September 14-30 at the Myriad Gardens.

Tectonic Theater Project has announced casting for the New York premiere of Uncommon Sense, a new play about living on the autism spectrum, which the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents for five weeks only, October 25 to November 26, at The Sheen Center's Loreto Theater (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The work is written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris and directed by Andy Paris under the artistic direction of Tectonic's founder, Moises Kaufman.

Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park presents Noel Coward's classic comedy Private Lives, directed by Emily Heugatter the production runs August 17 through August 27 at 2920 Paseo in the Paseo Arts District. 

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director/Jim Bredeson, Managing Director) today announced that their seventh annual festival of 10-minute plays of heightened language and classic themes will feature two brand new commissions from Dael Orlandersmith and Arthur Kopit, alongside 6 brand new plays chosen from hundreds of submissions from playwrights across the country. The 2017 Short New Play Festival will be presented on Monday July 24th (7:30pm) at Lucille Lortel Theatre, directed by Craig Baldwin and Evan Yionoulis. Casts will include Tina Benko, Bill Buell, Robert Clohessy, Emily Donahoe, Clifton Duncan, Teresa Avia Lim, Joan MacIntosh, Nadine Malouf, Howard W. Overshown, Alfredo Narciso, and Linda Powell.

PlayPenn, Philadelphia's artist-driven organization dedicated to improving the way in which new plays are developed, has announced their Summer 2017 education offerings, including several opportunities to 'binge learn' during curated packages created especially for ambitious students.

Playwrights Foundation, the West Coast's premiere launchpad for exceptional emerging playwrights has named the artistic teams and daily schedule for the 40th Anniversary Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF).  The 40th Anniversary Bay Area Playwrights Festival runs July 13 - 23, 2017 at Custom Made Theatre, 533 Sutter Street in the heart of San Francisco's Theater District.  In addition to twelve staged readings, the Festival will offer a Theater Professionals weekend 7/21-23, special events, and an anniversary celebration 7/13.  Tickets at bayareaplaywrightsfestival.org.
