Festival of Cinema NYC will return for its 6th year, as a live in-person 10-day event, August 5 - August 14. Taking place at the Regal UA Midway theater in Forest Hills, Queens, FOC NYC will showcase 124 independent films from more than 25 countries, with over 90 anticipated filmmakers to be in attendance.

Art House Productions has announced the ten Hudson County artists who will receive Art House Cares Grants. The artists include Samantha Benvissuto, Jasmin Casiano, Zhnai Davis, Benedicto Figueroa, Kent Jackman, Shiva Jlayer, Antonio Martez, Bryant Small, Elizabeth Weitzen, and Lisa Marie Zapata.

The special features Connelly’s exclusive interviews with Presley’s surviving family, including his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, his ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, and his granddaughter Riley Keough, who reflect on the 45 years since his death, their involvement in the film and the contribution the film will have toward Presley’s legacy.

 Shriver Hall Concert Series (SHCS) — Baltimore’s premier presenter of chamber music ensembles and solo recitalists — has rescheduled its concert featuring the two-time Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet and soprano Karen Slack, to Sunday, June 19 at 5:30pm, due to Covid-related challenges (originally scheduled for May 15).

Untitled Elegy Play, a new play by Andrea Stolowitz, is set to take the stage May 13th at Corcadorca Theatre Development Centre in Cork, Ireland. Today, cellist Amit Peled releases his next album, Solus et una, on CTM Classics. A follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2018 album Bach Vol. 1, Solus et una features J.S. Bach's Suites Nos. 4 and 5 for Violoncello Solo, plus a brand new cello choir arrangement of the Andante from Brahms' Symphony No. 3, performed by the Mount Vernon Virtuosi cellos. Suites Nos. 4 and 5 were recorded and engineered by six-time Grammy Award-winning recording producer Da-Hong Seetoo.
