Sydney duo Royel Otis, are starting 2024 with a bang with the release of their new song “Velvet.” “Velvet” is the fourth single to feature on PRATTS & PAIN following “Adored”, “Fried Rice” and “Heading For The Door.” The duo chant in unison across “Velvet”, a foot-stomping jangle of chugging guitars and keys that becomes a cathartic release.

MAX tunes into a myriad of emotions and sonic vibes across LOVE IN STEREO. He sets the stage for its arrival with the fresh, flirty, and funkified new single “SAY LESS” [feat. Less than one month out from the release of her new album ‘Blue Raspberry,' Katy Kirby is sharing the album track “Hand to Hand.” Together with producers Alberto Sewald and Logan Chung, Kirby looked to albums like Andy Shauf's ‘The Party' and Lomelda's ‘Hannah' as models for ‘Blue Raspberry''s abundant but spacious gorgeousness.

Salt Lake City-based band The Moss announced their winter US headline tour dates—The Moss Alive Tour. The tour will start in Vancouver, work down the West Coast, then see them return to Austin to follow this year's Austin City Limits with a show at the Scoot Inn. TALK announces an extensive North American headlining tour in 2024 to support his debut album, Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees, which released last Friday on Capitol Records. TALK performed his first of three shows opening for country queen Shania Twain last night in Toronto, where he flexed his powerful rock chops in front of a sold-out crowd. 

Directed by Pennacky, the music video depicts the four-piece in a gigantic form, on a mission to rescue Tokyo citizens from the negativity of monotony. Despite the panic throughout the city as they harness Genki energy to save their peers, ATARASHII GAKKO! ultimately prevails and leads people from all walks of life to a high-energy gathering.

Babebee (they/them) is announcing their new EP ‘A PROPHECY’.  Part of the graduating class of Pigeons & Planes best new artists of 2022 (alongside Ice Spice), the Atlanta based songwriter and producer layers dreamy guitars, ethereal synths and unconventional production with stream-of-conscious lyricism

The four-track body of work also boasts “ALONE,” which hinges on a pulsating dancefloor-ready groove, thumping bassline, and alluring vocal loops. Elsewhere, “LIKE THIS/LIKE THAT” swings back-and-forth between robotic vocalisations and kinetic rhythms. The ride culminates with the bold and boisterous “THINK I KNOW.”

Breakthrough alternative pop-rock band Beach Weather is heading into 2024 with another one - a national headlining tour. 2022 saw the band reunite after a multi-year hiatus and sign with Arista Records. Their hit single “Sex, Drugs, Etc” peaked at #1 on the Alt Radio charts and simultaneously claimed the fastest rise to number one that year.

Outside of his growing collection of original works, which includes two LPs and an EP trilogy on Stones Throw, Kiefer has produced, played, and written with artists including Drake and Anderson .Paak, winning a GRAMMY Award for his work with the latter. Kiefer has also collaborated with the likes of Carrtoons and Theo Croker.

This calls for a block party - indie sibling duo Durry have released their debut album, Suburban Legend, out now via Big Pip Records and Thirty Tigers. The 12-track album is a nostalgia-fueled manifesto for the new generation, including recent singles “Little Bit Lonely,” “I’m Fine (No Really),” “Coming of Age,” and “Who’s Laughing Now.'

Lauren Mayberry releases “Are You Awake?”, the first music she has ever recorded and shared as a solo artist. The ballad puts Lauren’s voice at the forefront, it marks a stark departure from her band’s signature sound. The song was co-written with Tobias Jesso Jr. and Matthew Koma, who also produced - and was mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent.
