Retro Productions Announces 2009-2010 Season, Kicks Off With HOLY DAYS

Staying true to its mission to present 'retro theater,' Retro Productions is proud to announce its 2009 - 2010 season! Retro's 5th Birthday season kicks off with their fall production: the depression-era tale Holy Days by Sally Nemeth. In spring 2010, Retro Productions will present the classic 1950's office comedy William Marchant's The Desk Set. The 2009 - 2010 season marks Retro's third season in residence at The Spoon Theater.

The show's Off-Broadway run will begin on September 10th and run through October 5th at Theatre 80 St. Marks, the former home of The Pearl Theatre Company, located at 80 St. Marks Place between 1st and 2nd Avenues in NYC. The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side is written and directed by Derek Ahonen.

Following rave reviews Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, has sold out its run through its closing on Monday, December 22, at the Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street. The Rising Phoenix Repertory and Piece by Piece production opened Tuesday, December 9, to rave reviews as part of New York Theatre Workshop's Jonathan Larson Lab. All performances are sold out. Those wishing to be put on a waiting should arrive at the theatre 45 minutes prior to curtain.
