According to Deadline, the network has ordered a second season of its Canadian-produced fresman thriller, following its steady first outing in Adults 18-49. The first season wrapped last month.

Martin Guigui to Helm CRAZY FOR THE BOYS Musical Dramedy Film

Teen pop impresario and songwriter Brian Lukow has concluded an agreement for independent film director Martin Guigui to helm the feature film Crazy For The Boys, a musical dramedy which was written by Lukow, and is aimed at the burgeoning, lucrative tween and teen audience. Based on the fictional back story of the five-member girl group Drama Drama, the film will be produced by Michael Z. Gordon, a BMI Award-winning songwriter who founded surf-sound pop groups The Marketts and The Routers, and whose film and television composing credits include Pulp Fiction, Everybody Loves Raymond and Ally McBeal.

On MOTIVE's upcoming episode, titled 'Crimes of Passion,' when a teenage girl is killed in a hit-and-run accident, first clues point Detectives Flynn and Vega toward the girl's disgruntled ex-boyfriend. Passion is a strong enough motive for murder, but Angie believes the boyfriend is innocent and begins to unravel a connection between the victim and an eminent prosecutor in the midst of a mayoral campaign. It turns out that passion may well be the motive, and the underpinning of a secret double life, on THURSDAY, MAY 23 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on ABC.

On the premiere episode of ABC's new drama MOTIVE, titled 'Creeping Tom,' when a well-liked, karaoke-singing high school science teacher (Joey McIntyre) is found murdered in his bedroom, a home invasion gone wrong doesn't feel like the right Motive to Detectives Flynn and Vega. As they follow a plausible lead to an adulterous wife and a possible crime of passion, Angie's second sense points her in the direction of one of the students at the dead teacher's school, a serial thief known only as 'The Creeper,' premiering on a special day and time, MONDAY, MAY 20 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.

The innovative new procedural "Motive" will now premiere on a new special day and time, Monday, May 20 from 9:01-10:00 p.m., ET, following the finale of the "Dancing with the Stars" performance show, while its regular time period premiere remains the same, on Thursday, May 23 at 9:00 p.m., ET. "The Bachelorette" will now debut on Monday, May 27 from 8:00-10:01 p.m., ET.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Street Theatre Company opens its 2013 season with two special performances of Love Letters. Love Letters by A. R. Gurney was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play is a unique and imaginative theatre piece that is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. Evocative, touching, frequently funny, as the actors read the letters aloud, they chronicle over nearly 50 years of hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.

ABC has picked up MOTIVE, a thrilling crime drama from the executive producer of "Dexter" and "The Mentalist," with a unique twist focusing not on who did the crime, but why the crime was committed in the first place. The 13-episode drama is scheduled to air in Summer 2013 on the ABC Television Network.
