Open The Dark Door, the indie rock musical by David Lefort Nugent that confronts the modern American justice system, begins it's NYMF run October 8th at the American Theatre of Actors, running through October 17th. Starring in the production at the 2009 New York Musical Theatre Festival are Broadway's Mary Ellen Ashley (Annie Get Your Gun), Paul Kandel (Tommy, Titanic, Jesus Christ Superstar), Laura Jordan (Cry Baby), and Andrew McGinn (Coast of Utopia). The production features direction from Susanna Gellert (Fugue States at PS 122).

Full casting has been announced for OPEN THE DARK DOOR, an indie rock musical by David Lefort Nugent that confronts the modern American justice system. Denver Center Attractions (DCA) is proud to be partnering with the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines to produce a second production of the hit comedy GIRLS ONLY - The Secret Comedy of Women. This production marks the first time a DCA cabaret production has opened in a second market. The comedy's Iowa debut will take place at the Civic Center's Temple Theater tonight as part of the Prairie Meadows Temple Theater Series. The show is scheduled to run through May 10, 2009.

Denver Center Attractions (DCA) announced today that the second production of the hit comedy Girls Only ? The Secret Comedy of Women, now playing in partnership with the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines, has extended an additional four weeks. This production, which marks the first DCA cabaret production to open in a second market, is a part of the Prairie Meadows Temple Theater Series. The show has been extended through June 7, 2009. Special new group discounts have been set for performances beginning April 29. Tickets prices for groups of 10 or more are $25 per ticket for all performances except Friday and Saturday evenings, which are $29 per ticket.

Jessica-Snow Wilson Joins GLIMPSES OF THE MOON at the Algonquin

SHARON CARR ASSOCIATES, LTD announced today the addition of Jessica-Snow Wilson to the cast of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON. Wilson will be replacing Autumn Hurlbert in the leading role of Susy. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON premiered exactly one year ago at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel to rave reviews and quickly sold out its limited run. The show returned this fall with an expanded production and received more enthusiastic reviews. The run has now been extended through the end of March, with performances every Monday night. Starting in February, in partnership with the Algonquin Hotel, the production is adding alternating Thursday lunch matinees.
