The National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA) is pleased to announce that 62 finalists selected from tens of thousands of students will compete for the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress, scholarships and other honors at an event on Broadway to be hosted by the Tony Award-nominated stars of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, Laura Osnes (Cinderella) and Santino Fontana (the Prince). The fifth annual performance showcase featuring dynamic ensemble and solo performances exclusively from the musical theater cannon will take place on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 7:30pm at the Minskoff Theatre (200 W. 45th St). Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) has tapped a trio of talented actors to join the voice cast in 'Frozen.' Josh Gad ('The Internship,' 'Love & Other Drugs,' Broadway's 'The Book of Mormon') provides the voice of Olaf the snowman; Santino Fontana (Broadway's 'Cinderella,' 'Brighton Beach Memoirs,' 'Billy Elliot') lends his vocal talents as Hans; and Alan Tudyk ('42,' 'Wreck-It Ralph,' ABC's 'Suburgatory') joins the film as the voice of the Duke of Weselton. Frozen is an upcoming American 3D computer animated musical-fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy taleThe Snow Queen. It will be the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The film will feature the voices of Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, in speaking as well as singing roles. 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS Sing with 3.4 Million Total Viewers

osts Jason Aldean and Kristen Bell rocked the house last night at the CMT MUSIC AWARDS, and today the party continues as CMT celebrates growth across multiple screens, ranking as the #1 most social television show of the day, according to Social Guide. More than 3.4 million total viewers tuned in for the live telecast and encore, with an increase among Women 18-49 (+3%); and the live Red Carpet show posted double-digit gains, up +50% over last year. The show also delivered triple-digit growth in streaming, up +101% on CMT.com over last year, and +118% over last year on CMT Mobile. Ratings are up overall for CMT this quarter, with Prime up +57% over the same time period last year. (more...)
