Comix At Foxwoods Welcomes Iliza Shlesinger for Four Shows in June

The only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC'S “Last Comic Standing,” Iliza Shlesinger will return to Comix At Foxwoods to take the stage for four shows beginning Thursday, June 20 at 8 p.m. Additional shows will be held on Friday, June 21 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 22 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are currently available in advance for $25 for general admission ($35 day of) and $50 for VIP admission ($60 day of). This show is for mature audiences only. A two drink minimum applies to all tickets. (more...)

Comedian Rajiv Satyal Releases First Solo Video

ALMA Award nominee, Gabriel Iglesias, will look to end the weekend at Comix on a good note, as he visits the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster and regular tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $40, $50 and $60. Comedian on-the-rise and current star of NBC's "Whitney," Chris D'Elia, will make his first appearance on the Comix stage with performances on Friday, Apr. 26 at 8 p.m. and a double header on Saturday, Apr. 27 with shows at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and are $25 for general advance admission ($35 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $50 ($60 the day of). Three of Saturday Night Live's famed cast members will reunite on stage when they visit MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods for a special performance on Saturday, May 25 at 8 p.m. The lineup includes seven season veteran, Dana Carvey, who established some of the show's best known characters; Dennis Miller, who served as the “Weekend Update” correspondent for six seasons and Kevin Nealon, whose reoccurring role as an anchor on “Weekend Update” made the sketch a show staple. The 2013 North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival continues with a weekend of top notch sketch comedy. The sketch portion of the festival runs Thursday, February 7-Sunday, February 10. The sketch line-up features acts from all over the country and is highlighted by an appearance from the Second City Touring Company and an evening with Kevin Allison's RISK!, a live storytelling event. Tickets to festival shows range $10 - $37 and are available online at www.nccomedyarts.com. Sketch comedy shows will take place at DSI Comedy Theater, 200 N Greensboro St. and at the Arts Center 300-G East Main St. in Carrboro. Second City will take the stage at the Carolina Theatre, 309 W.
