Due to a foot injury that Xanadu star James Carpinello sustained during a rehearsal on Tuesday, the opening night of the cult classic's Broadway musical adaptation has been postponed

James Carpinello, currently starring as Sonny in Xanadu injured his foot on Tuesday and will be out of the show until further notice confirmed a production source.

The first musical of the new Broadway season, Xanadu, opens on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre after beginning previews on May 23rd.
