In The Stage Actor's Handbook: Traditions, Protocols, and Etiquette for the Working and Aspiring Professional written by theatre pros Michael Kostroff and Julie Garnyé, the multitude of unwritten yet well-established protocols have finally been assembled into one volume, allowing theatre artists to know in advance what is expected of them.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present “Simply Barbra” written and performed by Steven Brinberg, to celebrate Barbra Streisand’s landmark 80th Birthday on Monday, July 18 at 7:00 PM.

Forestburgh Playhouse, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Franklin Trapp, is continuing its Forestburgh Under the Stars Concert Series this weekend with Jackie Burns (Wicked) June 10 and Broadway Legend Ken Page June 11.

More than a dozen of Broadway’s best have been added to the lineup performing songs from the musical theater canon through the lens of the LGBTQ+ experience at the in-person homecoming of Broadway Backwards, which is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits Broadway Cares and New York City’s LGBT Community Center.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting applications for the Cabaret & Performance Conference Fellows Program. The professional program, helmed by Artistic Director John McDaniel, will take place August 10-20, 2022 on the O'Neill's seaside campus.

Oscar-nominated actor Chris Sarandon, who appeared in The Princess Bride, Fright Night and Dog Day Afternoon, will record his food-themed podcast, “Cooking by Heart,” April 23 at Sacred Heart University Community Theatre, 1420 Post Road.
