The Champagne Set at Flute, a cabaret series created as a platform to highlight the vast array of vocal talents of the Broadway community, will take place on Monday, May 21st at Flute Bar in Gramercy at 40 E. 20th Street, New York, NY. Performance begins at 8:00pm. This initial installation of The Champagne Set will feature smooth jazz standards. There is no cover charge. ( more...)

On Tuesday, March 27th, Rosie's Theater Kids held an event called "Passing It On," where the Kids performed a show which they learned in tandem with mega mentors like Audra McDonald, BD Wong, Brandon Victor Dixon, Dana Moore, and Derick K Grant, among others. The show was held at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater @ 7pm, and the event honored Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids.

And it has sold more t-shirts than any show in Broadway history. Now in a return engagement at the Pantages, this scaled down tour of Wicked still catches fire, due mostly to a gifted cast. Back by "Popular" demand, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED returned to its Los Angeles home, the Pantages Theatre, for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running through January 29, 2012. When it first played the Pantages in 2005, it broke box office records and sold out in record time. WICKED returned two years later to begin an extended engagement that would go on to run two years, becoming one of the longest-running Broadway musicals in L.A. history. Tom McGowan is WICKED's Newest Wizard!

Beginning performances on Tuesday, May 3, TOM McGOWAN will assume the role of The Wizard in the Broadway company of WICKED. He joins a cast which includes Teal Wicks as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, Richard H. Blake as Fiyero, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.
