This Spring, one of 2018's biggest buzzwords steals the spotlight. By presenting GASLIGHT (ANGEL STREET), Sound Theatre will explore the origins of “gaslighting” at 12th Ave Arts. Teresa Thuman will direct.

Peacock has released the official trailer for Joe vs Carole, the new limited series based on Tiger King stars Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. John Cameron Mitchell and Kate McKinnon star in the new series. The cast also includes Kyle MacLachlan, Brian Van Holt, Sam Keeley, Nat Wolf, Marlo Kelly, William Fichtner, Dean Winters, and David Wenham.

Playwrights Dipika Guha (“Yoga Play” at Syracuse Stage through Feb. 6), Hilary Bettis and Joy Meads join Syracuse Stage associate artistic director Melissa Crespo and moderator and arts journalist Kelundra Smith for a panel discussion “Inside the Kilroys List” on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m.

One sketch from last night's SNL show, a parody of The Sound of Music, features a misfit bunch of children that McKinnon, Maria Von Trapp, was unable to successfully charm. Cue Ariana DeBose, who waltzes in as a quirky new nanny with a unique take on the musical's famous 'Do Re Mi'. 

Ariana DeBose, who most recently won a Golden Globe for her performance in Spielberg's West Side Story as Anita, made her SNL debut as the hostess last night. Watch as the Broadway star gives her opening monologue to kick off the show and gets musically interrupted by Kate McKinnon.

This morning, Hamilton star Jasmine Cephas Jones and Ron Cephas Jones announced the 2021 Primetime Emmy Nominations, which included 12 nominations for the Disney Plus recording of Hamilton in addition to nomination for Broadway veterans like Billy Porter, Cynthia Erivo, Julie Andrews, the Lopezes and so many more.

Last night was the season finale of the 46th season of Saturday Night Live. During the season's final cold open, the SNL cast reflected on writing and performing season 46’s sketches during the coronavirus pandemic.

Last night's Saturday Night Live Cold Open spoofed the CDC's new COVID-19 guidelines that state that masks are no longer necessary for fully vaccinated people. In the sketch, Dr. Anthony Fauci (Kate McKinnon) presents different scenarios to demonstrate the new guidelines.
