Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee, which took place on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Le Poisson Rouge, was a major success, raising over $40,000 in funding for performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. A comedic adult spelling bee, the Broadway Bee, featured actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event. Lee Aaron Rosen from the Tony Award nominated Broadway revival of Angels in America took home the coveted Broadway Bee trophy.

New spellers have been added to Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 7 PM at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). The comedic spelling bee, Broadway Bee, features actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event, while raising funds to provide a wide range of performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. Today we celebrate the Broadway revival of Kaufman and Hart's You Can't Take It with You, which opened on this day in 2014.

THREE WISE GUYS by Scott Alan Evans & Jeffrey Couchman, directed by Scott Alan Evans+, is up next as part of TACT's newTACTics Festival.

The industry reading of the new play, The Joys? of Being Yiddish, will be presented on Friday, June 9th at 10:45am and 2:00pm at The New 42 Rehearsal Studios (Studio 9A), 229 W. 42nd Street.

TACT concludes its 2016 - '17 season with its 7th annual newTACTics New Play Festival, a fresh collection of four unpredictable and engaging new works. The original plays at newTACTics always invite you to expect the unexpected, and this year's offerings are no exception.

The theatre world is abuzz about the Second Annual BROADWAY BEE on Monday, May 8th (at Le Poisson rouge in NYC). The fundraiser pits some of Broadway's brightest against each other in a high-spirited spelling bee, with eleven teams vying for the trophy.
