'Dancing with the Stars' duo Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will extend their run for an additional two weeks in Broadway's FOREVER TANGO. Originally scheduled to appear for three weeks only, the couple will now perform in the internationally acclaimed entertainment phenomenon through Sunday, August 11, 2013. Special guest vocalist and five-time Grammy Award-winner, Gilberto Santa Rosa, will appear through July 28, 2013 as previously announced. Forever Tango began performances on Tuesday, July 9, 2014 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48thStreet). 'El Principe de la Salsa' (The Prince of Salsa) will perform nightly at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street), Tuesday, July 30 through Sunday, August 18, 2013. Forget the mirrorball trophy. Tonight's finale wasn't a competition; it was a master class in movement and expression. No gimmicks necessary, no drama drawn out of thin air (despite Brooke Burke-Charve's best efforts), just really fantastic dancing.

After 10 weeks of entertaining, stylized dancing from Jacoby Jones & Karina Smirnoff, Kellie Pickler & Derek Hough, Alexandra Raisman & Mark Ballas and Zendaya & Valentin Chmerkovskiy, only one couple will be crowned 'Dancing with the Stars' Champions. These four remaining couples will have one last opportunity to impress the judges and viewers on MONDAY, MAY 20, concluding with the Season Finale, TUESDAY, MAY 21 on the ABC Television Network.

Tonight's semifinal spectacular struck the perfect balance between gimmicks and knock-your-socks-off, wow performances. But at the heart of this heated competition for the mirrorball trophy is a naturally occurring spring of dramatic tension no amount of half-tone montages or hyperbolic metaphors could ever replicate: the hordes of soap-loving middle-aged women who could very well put Ingo through to the final despite his cringeworthy lack of coordination, leaving one of his wildly talented competitors out in the cold.

For one night only, ballet dancers from around the world will gather at the famous Beacon Theatre to take part in Beyond the Ballet. The performance will showcase some of the biggest names in dance and classical music with proceeds benefitting educational programs.

In 2013 all of us at VK DANCE are celebrating 20th anniversary of the opening of our dance center. A lot has changed since those early days in 1993. Starting with the name. Initially Kaiser Dance Academy was named to honor Julius "Gyula" Kaiser, the great dance coach and the dance father of the founder of the studio -Victor Kanevsky. At the time it was solely dedicated to training young aspiring dancers for greatness.
