Third Rail Projects Continues Open-Ended Run of THEN SHE FELL

A new block of tickets for September performances has just been put on sale for Third Rail Projects critically acclaimed production of THEN SHE FELL. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris with Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company. Performances of this open-ended run take place at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that allows the action to play out on 3 floors. IPHIGENIA, BOLERO and More Set for RIOULT Dance NY's Season at The Joyce, 6/4-9

RIOULT Dance NY, a leading American modern dance company with a classic sensibility, announces its eight-performance New York Season June 4-9, 2013 at The Joyce Theater. The Season includes the World Premiere of Artistic Director/Choreographer Pascal Rioult's newest work, Iphigenia (working title), a dance drama inspired by the Greek heroine of the same name from Euripides' 'Iphigenia in Aulis.' The piece was created in collaboration with Composer Michael Torke and features his newly commissioned score, which will be performed live by the Camerata New York Orchestra. The Season program also includes the critically acclaimed On Distant Shores (2011), the powerful Prelude to Night (2002), and one of the company's signature works, Bolero (2002). (more...)

After a sold out 9-week run in 2012 and the destruction by Hurricane Sandy of what was supposed to be their new home at South Street Seaport, Third Rail Projects has found a new venue to house its critically acclaimed production of THEN SHE FELL. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris with Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company. Performances of this open-ended run will resume March 9 at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that will allow the action to play out on 3 floors. The engagement features the New York premiere of the dance "Within (Labyrinth Within)" that includes the film "Labyrinth Within," both of which are by Swedish filmmaker and choreographer Pontus Lidberg, Morphoses' 2012 Resident Artistic Director. Arts@Renaissance presents the World Premiere of Third Rail Projects' THEN SHE FELL, an immersive theater event inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). Performances begin October 3 at Arts@Renaissance, the Garden Level of the former Greenpoint Hospital, run by St Nicks Alliance. Opening night is slated for October 6.

The idea for IN THE MOOD - A Time to Remember came to Gail Marchand, President of the Hudson Music Club, while her family was listening to Big Band music one evening and her father began reminiscing about WWII and how met her mother. Marchand took the concept to James Milvain who agreed to write the script. With Jean-Claude Olivier's vintage set, the musical support of Sheila Engel Katz (Musical Director) and Philippe Gobeille (Staging & Direction), and a talented group of on-stage and backstage volunteers, a touching original story, brimming with 1940's melodies, comes to life at Hudson Village Theatre.
