I'm Still Here, a new virtual benefit for The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Billy Rose Theatre Division, will stream on Broadway On Demand on June 23. The evening is a celebration of the division's 90th Anniversary, and the 50th Anniversary of its beloved Theatre on Film and Tape Archive and will honor Harold Prince and George C. Wolfe.

I've been thinking about Newsies a lot this week. At its core, it is a show about activists fighting for change and battling against the status quo. Obviously, this is a fairly pressing and urgent idea, this week especially. It tells us that we should raise our voices to protest unjust systems, and that if we hold out, important bounds forward can be made to better things for ourselves and others.

CCM To Present Joint Virtual Senior Showcase For Musical Theater And Acting Students

The Musical Theater and Acting departments at The University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, will host an exclusive online senior showcase for their thirty-five graduating seniors on April 12 after canceling their New York showcase for the second consecutive year due to COVID restrictions.
