Along with its usual array of exclusive feature film premieres, specialty short showcases, industry panels, and parties, this year's festival will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of 1999 - the Greatest Year of Movies - Ever! with special screenings of Cruel Intentions with Director, Roger Kumble attending, But I'm A Cheerleader and American Movie.

The three-week performance series will feature music, theater, comedy and cabaret work from Matt Bovee, Scout Davis, Amy Jo Jackson, Dan Mills and Ben Thornewill, Kristin McCarthy Parker, Adam J. Rineer, and others, as well as the world premiere of Witches!? In Salem?! by Matt Cox (Puffs).

CHRISTEENE, announces her return to the stage with a pair of shows unlike any other. In March, CHRISTEENE will make her US debut of The Lion The Witch And The Cobra — a collective reverberation to these tumultuous times channeled through a live performance of Sinéad O'Connor's debut album — in New York City and Los Angeles.

The audience at Joe’s Pub eagerly waited in anticipation for the climactic arrival of Justin Vivian Bond to the stage last Thursday night for Sex with Strangers, described in the marketing material as “an evening of song and poetry for, by, and about the outrageously gorgeous and mythical icon of dissolute glamour, Marianne Faithfull.”

The 2023 Lower East Side Film Festival (“LESFF”) will host a special 30th-anniversary screening of Richard Linklater's, 1993 cult classic, “Dazed and Confused” with live commentary from comedians, Jordan Carlos (The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore) and Phoebe Robinson (HBO's 2 Dope Queens, Everything's Trash) on Friday, May 5 at the Village East Cinema with a 9 pm showtime in Mystery Science Theater 3000 style.

Pride in London returns on Saturday 2 July with its biggest and most inclusive event in history, with a stellar line-up of artists who will perform across four stages around Central London.
