Vulture today announced the lineup for its second annual Vulture Festival Los Angeles Presented by AT&T, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site to life, and an expansion of the pop-culture extravaganza that has taken place in New York City for the last five years. Vulture Festival Los Angeles's lineup includes actors in conversation, exclusive screenings, cast reunions, live podcasts, a comedy show, table reads, a private museum tour, and more, taking place November 17–18, primarily at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles, with select events at other venues. Additional events will be announced in the coming weeks.

Three generations of outrageous women confront each other in a family mausoleum: that is the premise of Aurora Theatre's Teatro Aurora production of El Gran Dia de la Madre, a new comedy by Chascas y Quintanilla to be performed in the intimate Aurora Studio. With Chilean and Spanish co-authors, the show has delighted audiences on two continents, premiering in Chile in 2012 followed by a production in Spain in 2014. Additionally, the show is a part of the celebrated GGC Harvel Lab Series and will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles.

Laughter is the Best Resistance will feature standup from Ashley Nicole Black (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Jena Friedman (Adult Swim's 2018 The Jena Friedman Show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Late Show with David Letterman), award-winning writer and producer Judy Gold (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Showtime's I'm Dying Up Here, host of Kill Me Now with Judy Gold podcast), Jen Kirkman (Jen Kirkman: Just Keep Livin?, I Can Barely Take Care of Myself, I Know What I'm Doing and Other Lies I Tell Myself), Dulc Sloan (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah), and Liza Treyger (Glittercheese). Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Ms. Foundation's work to ensure the economic justice, reproductive justice, and safety for all women.
