THE MAN UNDER Comes to 59E59 Theaters, Beginning 1/25

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes Athena Theatre with the world premiere of THE MAN UNDER, written by Paul Bomba and directed by Benjamin Kamine. THE MAN UNDER begins performances on Friday, January 25 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 17. Press opening is Wednesday, January 30 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $25 ($17.50 for 59E59 Members). On June 18, Robert Nicotra & John Dapolito presented Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas- A Contagious Laughter Production, at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios. The new comedy by Brian Gianci featured casting by Judy Bowman, and is aiming for an Off-Broadway run this winter.

HERO Theatre announced today that the cast of the "King Lear" benefit staged reading starring Olympia Dukakis and directed by Austin Pendleton will include Louis Cancelmi (Sarah Kane's "Blasted" at Soho Rep), Lynn Cohen ("Sex and the City," Tina Howe's "Chasing Manet'), Dashiell Eaves ("Becky Shaw", "A Behanding In Spokane"), Paul Lazar (Classic Stage Company's "Three Sisters", "Silence of the Lambs") and George Morfogen ("Freud's Last Session", CSC's "Three Sisters", and HBO's "OZ").
