Shakespeare-in-the-Park to Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM this Summer by BWW News Desk - Jun 05, 2013
The Conseil des arts de Montreal en tournee and Repercussion Theatre are pleased to announce the 2013 Shakespeare-in-the-Park (SITP) tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream, beginning July 7th and continuing through August 4th, 2013. In addition to the various Montreal and surrounding-area parks, SITP will visit Hemmingford and Morin Heights and for the first time, Reford Gardens in Grand-Metis and Douglass Beach (Plage de Ville de Lac Brome) in Knowlton. The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. Keen Company Announces 2013 Keen Teens Festival of New Work by BWW News Desk - Apr 09, 2013
Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the theatrical publishing company Samuel French, has selected the writers for the program's seventh season: Jonathan Caren, Madeleine George, and Anna Moench, who have been commissioned to write thirty-minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway. Tom Riis Farrell to Join A.R. Gurney's THE OLD BOY Off-Broadway by BWW News Desk - Feb 06, 2013
The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that Tom Riis Farrell will join the cast of their production of the newly revised version of A.R. Gurney's 1991 play, The Old Boy, replacing Hal Robinson. Performances of this Off-Broadway Limited Engagement begin February 12th and continue through March 24th only.
