WHV Press Releases Classic and Contemporary Gangster Films on Blu-ray

As part of the studio's 90th Anniversary celebration, eight of Warner Bros. Pictures' greatest gangster films - from Edward G. Robinson's 1931 classic Little Caesar to Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning masterpiece The Departed[1] -- will now be available in two Blu-ray sets May 21. Released to coincide with Father's Day gift-giving, the WB genre greats, along with one of Paramount's best gangster films, will be offered in the Ultimate Gangster Collection: Classic and Ultimate Gangster Collection: Contemporary. Music Box Announces Oscar-Winning Films Series

Oscar Season is in full swing; the big, end-of-year releases are hitting theaters and nominations voting began Monday. From now until the awards ceremony on February 24, the film world is abuzz with Oscar predictions. The Music Box Theatre takes this opportunity to take a look at some past award winners and see how this year's crop stacks up! Oscar-Winning Filmsmatinee series features a roster of movies that have racked up at least three Academy Awards apiece. HBO Acquires U.S. Rights to CASTING BY Documentary

HBO Documentary Films has acquired the U.S. television rights to Tom Donahue's feature documentary film CASTING BY, it was announced today. Syfy Greenlights 'High Moon' Pilot Based on Best-Selling John Christopher Novel

Syfy is greenlighting Reunion Pictures' new series pilot High Moon, an adaptation of John Christopher's best-selling novel The Lotus Caves, it was announced today by Mark Stern, President, Original Content, Syfy, and Co-Head, Original Content, Universal Cable Productions.
