Co-Founders Abby Felder and Robbie Jaeger announce that Asheville Creative Arts' (ACA) Third Season will launch with THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS!, with script and lyrics by Robert Kauzlaric, music by Paul Givalry and William Rush, adapted from THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, musical direction by Jonesalee, directed and choreographed by Robbie Jaeger, which will run Feb 26-Mar 1, 2015 at NC Stage (15 Stage Lane).

Kids and their adult friends will love the WST for Kids' production of Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fair(l)y (stoopid) Tales. Based on the book by Jon Scieszka, this hour-long musical comedy brings fairytale stories to life at Walnut Street Theatre January 31st through February 8th, 2015.

And MISS NELSON IS BACK! By Harry Allard. Both shows will be directed and choreographed by Robbie Jaeger, and THREE LITTLE PIGS will include puppets by Abby Felder. THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS! will run Feb 26-Mar 1, 2015, and MISS NELSON IS MISSING! will run July 16-26, 2015 at NC Stage (15 Stage Lane).

John Glore adapted the play from the book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith. The show, with a host of wacky characters and silly songs, is directed by Jessica Kubzansky and runs today, May 23-June 8 on the Julianne Argyros Stage.

The Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) celebrates 15 years of presenting international children's theater with the 2014 Stages, Sights & Sounds festival, May 6-24 in Chicago. This year's Stages, Sights & Sounds will feature inaugural productions from Australia and Spain, including the quirky toy-centric Fluff from Sydney's Cre8ion, the climate change tale of The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer from Perth's The Last Great Hunt, and the object driven Animales from Madrid's El Retablo, featuring master puppeteer Pablo Vergne. The festival will also include the U.S. premiere of Kaguya: The Bamboo Princess and other Stories by returning puppet artist Nori Sawa (Japan/Czech Republic). Additionally, Stages, Sights & Sounds will introduce several new programs, including readings with children's book authors Timothy Basil Ering and Jon Scieszka, and the Chicago Puppetolio. Columbia Children's Theatre to Present 'THE STINKY CHEESE MAN,' 3/28-4/6

Columbia Children's Theatre (CCT), the Midlands only professional theatre for families and young audiences, will present The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fair(l)y (Stoopid) Tales, March 28 - April 6. Show times are Fridays at 7:00 p.m.; Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.; and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. A special 'Late Night Date Night' performance for adults will be at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, and will include a cash bar. All shows are held at Columbia Children's Theatre on the 2nd level of Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Drive. Tickets are $10.00 for children three years of age through adult, with $8.00 tickets for seniors and active duty military. The 7:00 p.m. performances on Saturday evenings will have a special price of $5.00 for everyone. Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.columbiachildrenstheatre.com.
