Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week.

Philadelphia Theatre Workshop is nurturing four rising playwrights with ties to the region as their works are presented at the Second Annual PlayShop Festival. This festival, which opens March 7, will present these works in repertory over several weekend performances, while the playwrights, directors, and cast have opportunities to develop the work during the week.
