Based on the popular 1980 movie, '9 to 5', tells the story of three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do - even in a man's world! The show is about teaming up and taking care of business. Audiences will have nostalgic fun with this return to the scheming secretarial pool. On Friday, November 9th SPOTTISWOODE & HIS ENEMIES will celebrate their fifteenth anniversary by bringing their unique brand of rock and roll to the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. They have been invited to perform at the Center's prestigious “The Next Voice You Hear' concert event that showcases some of the best unsung national and international talents as part of their Spotlight Series. The show comes on the heels of the announcement that the band has won two Independent Music Awards: Best Adult Contemporary Song and the Vox Populi IMA for Best Eclectic Album of 2011. (more...)

For the second year in a row the Anglo-New Yorker, SPOTTISWOODE, has been nominated by the Independent Music Awards for an album produced by the diabolical KENNY SIEGAL at Old Soul Studios. Last year, Spottiswoode was nominated for his plaintive and confessional solo record, PIANO 45, in the best adult contemporary album category. Spottiswoode & His Enemies have released their first song collection since the 2008 double release that marked their tenth anniversary. Wild Goosechase Expedition is the band's most shamelessly eclectic recording since their very first eponymous CD over a decade ago. It's a mad scramble of songs that mirrors the madness of life on the road. 'It's our Magical Mystery Tour,' says Spott.
