Ringing in the yuletide season, the Provincetown Theater will once again gather its community for the annual Townie Holiday Extravaganza – only, this year as a special one-night virtual event online.

To celebrate the holiday season with COVID-19 parameters, North Star Theater Company (NSTC) has collaborated with several churches in Sussex County, Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church (OLL) in Sparta and Western Hills Christian Church in Tranquility to spread good cheer.

Join the family of Daniel Price and The NOCCA Institute for Home for the Holidays, an annual concert and auction to benefit the Institute's Daniel Price Memorial Fund for Aspiring Artists. This fund supports the Institute's Student Success Program for students at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). 

Constantly innovative, and conscious that people can no longer physically visit, the people at Nano Nagle place, the multi award winning complex in the heart of Cork City, have created an amazing culture and history programme for Autumn/Winter 2020. The three month long programme will go live on Saturday next, November 21st, Presentation Day.

Bloomsbury Publishing, under the imprint of Methuen Drama, has announced publication of a unique play anthology featuring five gripping docudramas originally commissioned by L.A. Theatre Works.

The Las Vegas entertainment community has banded together and recorded a new song, a?oeNeeding Each Other,a?? along with an accompanying video. The song and video can be seen online on YouTube and was created as a fundraiser to assist the entertainment community.

Irving Weiser composed the song 'There I Go' which was #1 in the USA for three weeks in December, 1940. It was recorded by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Fats Waller, Dinah Washington and about 30 others. Weiser also composed the music for the song 'That's My Affair' which is sung by the Andrews Sisters in the Universal film Always A Bridesmaid. Weiser turned to teaching music in the 1950s, but never stopped composing. He placed his songs in a box in his basement where they remained hidden for decades. After Weiser's grandson, Adam Kreiselman, discovered the box, he founded Kreiselman Music Publishing to focus on the Weiser catalog. Demos and videos are regularly produced and all songs are available for licensing.

There's blood on my program. At first, I thought it was a printing design, but upon further inspection, I realized that, yes, I have blood stains on my program. Normally, I would be concerned, but given that the first three rows at the Moonlight Players Theatre have been designated 'Splatter Zone,' I didn't think much more of it from the safety of my seventh-row seat. The hugely-popular Off-Broadway musical condenses Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy into a two-act musical that celebrates the films' subversive comedy take on 1980s gore. And it does so with a gusto and a panache that knows just how ridiculous and trope-heavy the source material is.
