John Spencer Ellis has joined a select group of the world's leading experts to co-write the forthcoming book titled, "New Rules of Success: The World's Leading Experts Reveal Their Top Secrets to Help You Achieve Optimal Health, Wealth and Lifestyle." TVLine.com reports that Emmy-award winning actress Kathryn Joosten, star of ABC's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, died of lung cancer in Westlake Village, CA on Friday, June 1. She was 72.

Now, the New York Times reports that according to producer Thomas Viertel, the show is indeed now headed to Broadway in the Fall of 2012. No official announcement has yet been made, but Viertel told the paper that 'closed-door developmental readings drew strong feedback' and that 'our creative team has done great work in clarifying the story.'

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, a newly revamped version of Leap of Faith received a table reading last Friday, September 9. The show's composer, Alan Menken, has taken to his Twitter this morning to announce that the show will next have a 29 hour reading prior to a New York production. He tweets: 'LEAP OF FAITH table reading last Friday. Next is a 29 hour reading before New York production. It's SUCH a changed show!' The musical reportedly has Broadway aspirations, possibly for later this season.

According to Deadline.com, Tony Award winning playwright Warren Leight is on board to create a new medical series for FOX. Acting as consulting producers for the project are Lori Andrews and Jon Shestack.

The Public Theater continues its spring season with the U.S. premiere of Drunk Enough to Say I Love You?, a new play by Caryl Churchill presented in association with the Royal Court Theatre. This two-character play, directed by James Macdonald and featuring Scott Cohen and Samuel West, comes to The Public after an acclaimed run at the Royal Court in London last year. Drunk Enough to Say I Love You? will begin previews on Wednesday, March 5 and run through Sunday, April 6 with an official press opening on Sunday, March 16 at 7PM.
