NY1 Anchor Roma Torre hosted the free concert event Spotlight on Town Hall last night, March 28, which also featured a special performance from Smash star and Tony-nominee Jeremy Jordan. Also included were performances from the Broadway productions of Chicago and The Phantom of the Opera, Off-Broadway's Avenue Q, The New York City Gay Men's Chorus and The Town Hall Broadway's Rising Stars Chorus.

Rupert Holmes' A TIME TO KILL to Open on Broadway in October 2013 by BWW News Desk - Mar 26, 2013
According to an Equity casting notice, Daryl Roth and Eva Price are bringing Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's novel A Time To Kill to Broadway in Fall 2013. A recent production played Baltimore's Arena Stage in 2011. Rehearsals will begin in August 2013, with opening night set for early October 2013. Ethan McSweeny is set to direct. (more...)

John Grisham and Sissy Spacek to Headline 3-Day Luxury Virginia Literary Writing Retreat by BWW News Desk - Mar 14, 2013
For writers and literary enthusiasts alike, the upcoming Readers & Writers Retreat at Castle Hill will take place on Monday May 20th until Thursday May 23rd in Charlottesville, Virginia. This three and a half day luxury retreat is an exclusive opportunity to spend a weekend with ten significant authors and learn the story and craft of their work.
