Salomee Spleet is proud to announce the world premiere of a new translation by Chicago Dramatists’ resident playwright Alice Austen of Marguerite Duras’ La Musica, directed by Noémi Schlosser, April 19 - May 12. Opening/Press night is Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. Performances are Thursday, April 19, Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Chicago Dramatists, 1105 West Chicago Ave. The production then moves for the remainder of the run (Saturday, April 28, Friday, May 4 and May 11, Saturday, May 5 and May 12 at 7 p.m.) to Alliance Française, 54 West Chicago Ave. Tickets are $25, which includes a complimentary glass of French wine. The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the motion picture and long-form television nominations for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. The categories include: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures; and The David L.
