Warner Executive Director Resigns

Effective March 10, 2013, John Bonanni will conclude his tenure as Executive Director of the Warner Theatre. In leaving, John plans to pursue his long-time professional goals as an executive producer via his company Big Fish, Big Pond, but has volunteered his services as an artistic consultant to the Warner Theatre, specifically its Stage Company. John Bonanni, Big Fish Big Pond, Ltd and the New York Musical Theater Festival present the world premiere of Under Fire, a new musical set in the late 1970's during the bloody revolution in El Mirado, and based upon the 1983 motion picture of the same title. Directed, book and lyrics by Tony Nominee and Emmy award winner Barry Harman (ROMANCE/ROMANCE, THE Carol Burnett SHOW, ALL IN THE FAMILY) and music by Broadway composer Grant Sturiale (OLYMPUS ON MY MIND).
