Comedy superstar and multiple Emmy(R) nominee Tracy Morgan returns to television with TBS starring in THE LAST O.G., a new comedy series that he executive produces alongside creator and executive producer Jordan Peele.

Rajiv Joseph's Guards at the Taj, produced by the Atlantic Theater Company, received the Obie Award® for Best New American Play, which is accompanied by a $1,000 prize. Legendary actor/dancer/choreographer Carmen de Lavallade and renowned playwright A.R. Gurney each received a special Obie Award® for Lifetime Achievement. Obie and Screen Actors Guild® Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria returned as host of this year's ceremony, which was held at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street).

On May 2nd, The 24 Hour Company® is teaming with The Exchange, an off-Broadway theater company, to create the eighth annual The 24 Hour Musicals to be held at the Highline Ballroom. A team of more than 100 - including stars from Broadway, film, television, and music - will cast, write, compose, direct, rehearse, tech, and perform four original musicals - all in the obscenely short time between an evening meet-and-greet on Sunday, May 1st and show time on Monday, May 2 at 8pm. The event benefits the Exchange's summer program, The Orchard Project, which incubates and accelerates innovative new theatrical work from around the world.

Winners of the 22nd ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS were revealed tonight, Saturday, January 30th (beginning at 8PM) on a simulcast airing live on TNT and TBS.

This one-night-only benefit will bring together Bennington College alumni - including Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe winners and nominees - to write, cast, rehearse, and present six one-act plays within a 24 hour period. The event kicks off The 24 Hour Plays 20th Anniversary Season.
