ETHEL and Friends brings Date Night to The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Great Hall Balcony Cafe next month. Performances will run March 8-9.

To kick off its 2024 Spring Puppet Performance Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will bring back the popular Long Island company A Couple of Puppets to perform Little Red Ridinghood on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Ballard Institute Theater, located at 1 Royce Circle in Downtown Storrs.

Produced for Apple TV+ by Peanuts and WildBrain, the special is directed by Emmy winner Raymond S. Persi (“The Simpsons,” “Wreck-It-Ralph”) and is co-written by Robb Armstrong (“Jump Start”) along with Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano, from an original story by Armstrong and Scott Montgomery (“The Snoopy Show”).
