FASHION STAR Crowns its Winner!

In the season finale episode of NBC's "Fashion Star" (Friday, May 10, 8-9 p.m. ET), contestants Hunter Bell, Cassandra Hobbins and Daniel Silverstein were challenged to create a capsule collection for all three retailers. After weeks of hard work, the remaining contestants gave everything they had for a chance to be crowned "Fashion Star." Ultimately, the buyers chose designer Hunter Bell as the next "Fashion Star." Her winning capsule collections will be carried online at Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express and in 50 Macy's locations and 15 Express locations nationwide. (more...)

For season 1, Game of Thrones won 2 out of the 13 nominations for the 2011 Emmy Awards. That same year, the series won a number of other awards including three Scream Awards for Best TV Show, Best Supporting Actor (Peter Dinklage), and Breakout Performance - Female (Emilia Clarke). The HBO network has been consistently renewing the hit show every season for the following year as soon as the 1st episodes' rankings came in.
