POTTED POTTER Announces Opening Night Ticket Giveaway

The hit off-Broadway show Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff begins performances one week from today, Thursday, May 30, at off-Broadway's Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street). The 13-week return engagement officially opens on Tuesday, June 4th and runs through Sunday, September 1st, 2013. (more...)

Southern Rep Theatre debuts Les Bon Temps Soiree: An Elegant Evening of Cabaret, June 4, at the Windsor Court Hotel starring Leslie Castay, New Orleans' own 'Queen of Cabaret.' Ms. Castay, accompanied by piano guru Jefferson Turner, takes the lead in an inspired evening of performances from our city's greatest musical talents and story tellers such as Troi Bechet, Jessie Terrebonne Thompson, Lisa Picone, Clint Johnson, Ann Mahoney, those wild ladies of burlesque, Fleur de Tease; and features the cast of NEXT TO NORMAL, Southern Rep's musical smash hit. New Musical JUSTIN LOVE to Complete Diversionary Theatre's 2013 Season, 8/29-10/6

Diversionary Theatre announces the addition of Justin Love, a new musical fantasy, to complete its 2013 roster of mainstage productions. Joining the currently running West Coast premiere of Birds of a Feather (through March 3, 2013) and the San Diego premiere of the literary romp, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabbler (March 28 - April 28, 2013), will be the West Coast premiere of Charles Busch's hilarious spoof The Divine Sister (May 23 - June 30, 2013), directed by Glenn Paris, and the world premiere farce She-Rantulas From Outer Space (October 24 - November 17, 2013), by Phil Johnson and Ruff Yeager. By popular demand, Diversionary will also bring back its twisted take on holiday tradition Scrooge in Rouge (December 5 - 29, 2013). (more...)

Broadway In Chicago has announced that Starvox Entertainment and Potted Productions' hit off-Broadway show, Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff, is extending by popular demand and moving from the Broadway Playhouse on Dec. 23, 2012 to the Harris Theater (205 E. Randolph Dr.). A new block of tickets for the Harris Theater performances Dec. 26, 2012 - Jan. 6, 2013 will go on-sale to the public Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (more...)

Due to popular demand, Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff has been confirmed for a second performance date at PlayhouseSquare on Thursday, January 31, 2013! Written and performed by former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, Potted Potter takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing, or 'potting', all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes, aided only by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage with a real life game of Quidditch, but according to Clarkson and Turner's unique set of rules. (more...)
