For nearly a decade, Andrew Benator has been one of Atlanta's most versatile actors. Having won a Suzi Award for playing a child-like Lord of the Underworld in Georgia Shakespeare and the Alliance's 'Eurydice', he is known by a wider audience as Dr. Jawfy on Tyler Perry sitcoms 'House of Payne' and 'Meet the Browns.' Since the Atlanta-native moved back home from New York in 2005, he has been a regular part of both the city's expanding stage and screen industries. Universal Postpones JURASSIC PARK 4, 21 JUMP STREET Takes Release Date by Movies News Desk - May 08, 2013
Universal has officially postponed JURASSIC PARK 4's release, the studio announced today. Sony wasted no time in scooping up the empty slot: the studio has moved its sequel to 21 JUMP STREET, starring Channing Tatum, to June 13, allowing Michael Bay's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES ample room to take over the box office. The 2012-2013 Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre season was announced today by CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie. The new season, the 46th season at the Music Center of Los Angeles, will include Jeff Goldblum in the West Coast premiere of the smart, sexy, new Broadway comedy "Seminar," Rachel York in the beloved 1930s musical romp - Cole Porter's "Anything Goes," the American premiere and pre-Broadway presentation of the dramatic musical "Backbeat" which features classic rock 'n' roll in its story of the birth of the Beatles, Tracie Bennett starring as the iconic Judy Garland in the West Coast premiere of the acclaimed play with music - "End of the Rainbow," and the daring new musical that explores a shocking event in American history - Kander and Ebb's "The Scottsboro Boys." In addition, the exuberant musical "Fela!" will return for a limited engagement as a bonus option to the season subscription. (more...)

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces William Shakespeare's Henry VIII, the first professional Chicago production in 400 years since its debut at Shakespeare's Globe in London. Staged by Artistic Director Barbara Gaines in CST's Courtyard Theater April 30-June 16, 2013, Henry VIII features a celebrated company of artists that includes Gregory Wooddell in the title role and Christina Pumariega as Anne Boleyn. Kathleen Kennedy Will Not Produce JURASSIC PARK 4 by Movies News Desk - Feb 18, 2013
Kathleen Kennedy, who was recently named President of Lucasfilms, will officially depart the JURASSIC PARK franchise for its fourth outing. Kennedy, who had produced all of the other films in Steven Spielberg's dinosaur saga, will instead focus on moving the STAR WARS series forward. (more...)

Universal's JURASSIC PARK to Be Released in IMAX 3D, 4/5 by Movies News Desk - Jan 09, 2013
