LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN Comes to the Workshop Theater,2/14-3/9

Workshop Theater Company is pleased to announce the New York premiere production of LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN by WorkShop Theater Company Artistic Director and award-winning playwright Scott C. Sickles's, LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN, directed by Thomas Coté. LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN will play a limited engagement on the Main Stage at WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances of this love story begin on Valentine's Day Thursday, February 14 and continue through Saturday, March 9. Opening Night is Saturday, February 16 (8 pm). Opalescent Productions has announced the cast for Untying Love, a new drama about the end of life and letting go by Peggy Willens to run at TADA! Theater, 15 West 28th Street, NYC from October 13 to November 4, 2012. The WorkShop Theater Company (Scott C. Sickles, Artistic Director), as part of its 2011-2012 Main Stage season, proudly presents Beneath the Hush, a Whisper, a work of historical fiction by new playwright, Abigail Somma, directed by Tom Herman. Beneath the Hush, a Whisper, set at the United Nations in the 1950's tells the story of a British diplomat, assigned to work with Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold on a project that will change the course of history. As his work begins, the conflicted UN appointee faces a personal crisis that tests his idealism and integrity. (more...)
