Tennessee Center for the Performing Arts has announced the lineup for its 2024-2025 Broadway season, including engagements of Tony Award-winners Moulin Rouge the Musical!, Shucked, MJ The Musical, and Kimberly Akimbo! The season also includes engagements of the touring companies of Peter Pan, Clue, & Juliet, and Mamma Mia!.

The Kurt Weill Foundation for Music has identified the twenty rising singer-actors who have advanced to the Lenya Competition's semifinal round.

John O’Brien, The Fabulous Fox Theatre’s Vice President of Programming and Marketing, and Cindy Vargo, Vice President of Sales and Membership announced the shows for the upcoming 2024-2025 Broadway Season on Tuesday morning. Joining them for the announcement was their special guest and native St. Louisan Mike Bosner of Bosner Productions. Bosner is the lead producer of the hit musical SHUCKED.  In addition to SHUCKED, the eight show season will include: BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical, The Neil Diamond Musical: A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, PETER PAN, SIX, SOME LIKE IT HOT, KIMBERLY AKIMBO, and & JULIET.

Tony Award-winning performer and producer LaChanze joined CBS Sunday Morning this week to discuss her career on stage, representation of black voices behind the scenes, and stepping into her new role as a Broadway producer.
