Tony nominated director Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) directed alongside Lawrence Yurman (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Grey Gardens), who musical directed. Cumberland County Playhouse to Host New Production of Broadway-bound LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE

Little House on the Prairie, the musical by Rachel Portman, Donna DiNovelli and Rachel Sheinkin based upon the series of books by Laura Ingalls Widler, will be given a new production with a revision of the script and score, at Cumberland County Playhouse, in Crossville. (more...)

Sara Jean Ford, Stephanie Rothenberg are New 'Smitty'/ 'Rosemary' in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, Feb. 28

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Sara Jean Ford (THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA) will step into the shoes of "Smitty" in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Ford will be replacing Mary Faber, who originated the role in the revival. Additional cast changes over a the Al Hirschfeld Theatre will also take effect on February 28 for the role of "Rosemary Pillkington" when current star Rose Hemingway takes a leave from the production through April 29. No reason for her hiatus has been announced. Hemingway's understudy, Stephanie Rothenberg, will assume the role on her absence. (more...)

The exquisite John W Engeman Theater of Northport hosted yet another glorious evening in their ongoing concert series "Broadway Spectrum". During their dark week between shows, the Engeman brings together Broadway performers for a one night engagement. The performers divulge little antidotes about their careers and sing selections from their favorite roles. The incredible cast this time around included Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Sara Jean Ford, Shuler Hensley, Andrew Samonsky, and Emily Skinner. (more...)

National Tour star Trista Moldovan makes her Broadway debut when she assumes the leading role of Christine Daaé beginning Friday, December 9. Always wanted to catch THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway? On Monday, July 4, 2011, PHANTOM will be the only show running on Broadway with one performance at 8pm. While most Broadway shows are "dark" on Mondays (serving as the company's day off), MAMMA MIA!, ROCK OF AGES, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, CHICAGO and GHETTO KLOWN do regularly perform on Mondays along with PHANTOM, however are celebrating an altered schedule this week to accommodate the holiday.
