BENEDICTUS to Play Theater for the New City Beginning 5/30

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, has announced that the world premiere of Tom Attea's new play, BENEDICTUS, written two years ago, about a pope who resigns, will open on May 30th and run until June 16, 2013, at Theater for the New City (155 First Avenue). Theater for the New City presents 'The Upper Lip,' an adaptation by playwright/director David Willinger of William Saroyan's forgotten 1951 novel, 'Rock Wagram.' Dennis Rodman Partners with MX Digital to Launch Online Casino

Dennis Rodman - NBA superstar, media icon, and part-time Global Peacemaker to North Korea - has teamed up with MX Digital, a leading game developer co-owned by Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television (BHE TV) to launch a series of online casino games. The Hall of Famer, actor and controversial celebrity can now add 'video-game-star' to his list of accomplishments. Rodman shot digital footage for inclusion in the game series last week in Miami.

Productions Coracole presents another family show appealing to theatergoers of all ages; the world premiere of Daisy and the Wonder Weeds by Jean Elliott Manning, directed by Coralie Heiler and Sylvain Millette, playing today, April 19 and the 20th. Along with a cast of entertaining characters, the show promotes awareness of environmental issues and holds messages of hope, integration, patience, acceptance and personal growth. PIFA 2013 Google HangOut - Artists Preview New Works that Interpret Moments in Natural Science
