Add into that live music, a wild love triangle, and mistaken identities and you have this year's edition of Shakespeare in Clark Park. This year SCP will showcase Philadelphia's finest actors alongside student musicians for a glam rock inspired Twelfth Night, directed by Jack Tamburri, which is set to run July 25-29, 2018 in Clark Park in West Philadelphia.

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training continues its 2017-18 season with Jean Anouilh's The Rehearsal : a comedic satire about class, love, and sex in the French aristocracy. The Rehearsal opens on Wednesday, February 21 and plays through March 11 in the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. A special pay-what-you-can preview performance will be offered to the public on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. with a $3 minimum.

It became a symbol of resistance as freedom fighters viewed the heroine's defiance as a crie de coeur of patriotism. The play, written with a modern sensibility, is based on the Greek tragedy of the princess who dies for burying her brother's corpse against the orders of her dictator uncle. Its parallels to modern times are exciting and provocative.
