Concord Theatricals has announced that it has secured exclusive worldwide licensing rights to Adam Rapp's The Sound Inside for its Samuel French imprint. The play will initially be released to professional theatres and a Samuel French acting edition is now available.

3-D Theatricals continues its 2019-2020 season with Kinky Boots, winner of six 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Broadway's Avenue Q and Shrek The Musical) and choreographed by Linda Love Simmons (3-D Theatricals' Once The Musical) with musical direction and conducting by Benet Braun (La Mirada Theatre's Grumpy Old Men: The Musical). Kinky Boots will play February 14-March 1 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (18000 Park Plaza Drive, Cerritos, CA). Opening night is Saturday, February 15. 

The box office for Steppenwolf's production of THE MINUTES by Tracy Letts, directed by Anna D. Shapiro on Broadway opened today, Monday, January 27 at 10:00am (ET) at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street).

Producers announced today the full creative team for the Broadway bow of Steppenwolf's production of THE MINUTES by Tracy Letts (August: Osage County, Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Arthur Miller's All My Sons, Linda Vista). The production, directed by Anna D. Shapiro (August: Osage County, Fish in the Dark, This Is Our Youth), will feature scenic design by David Zinn, costume design by Ana Kuzmanic, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, sound design and original music by André Pluess, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, dramaturgy by Edward Sobel and casting by Caparelliotis Casting.

Bay Street Theater has announced that Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN opened to an enthusiastic audience on August 3. Due to popular demand, the show will be extended and will now run through September 1. The show is one of the most beloved musicals of Broadway's Golden Age with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, book by Dorothy and Herbert Fields and directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George, Bay Street Theater's Frost/Nixon). Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan will return to Broadway with the second of his two exhilarating dramas celebrating Lyndon B. Johnson's legacy: THE GREAT SOCIETY. This new play is the companion piece to Schenkkan's Tony Award winning All The Way, depicting the tumultuous times that led to the conclusion of the Johnson presidency in 1968.

The Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts, beginning at 7:00pm EST. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation. Additional support is provided by TDF. Beloved and celebrated entertainer, Wayne Brady, will emcee the ceremony.

FLEABAG has recouped its investment Off-Broadway. Capitalized at $400,000, the show opened to rave reviews at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) and has recouped in three weeks.

The producers of Fleabag have announced a cancellation line for performances of the strictly limited and sold out engagement. Beginning one hour prior to curtain, cancellation tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be sold at full price ($125). The cancellation line is outside the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Ticket availability is not guaranteed.
