Poodle skirts and leather jackets are the height of style as Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre 2012 Summer Festival presents The Yardley Players in the rock n' roll musical, "Bye Bye Birdie." Performances are Fridays, tonight, July 13 and July 20 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, July 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, July 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance tonight, July 13.

According to Vulture.com, the recently canceled HBO series BORED TO DEATH may soon return to the cable network in the form of a movie. The show aired its final episode last November.

Apart Projects presents Michael Lindsay-Hogg's inaugural solo exhibition, 'Time Alters All: A Retrospective of an Emerging Artist' curated by Price Latimer Agah. The artist, along with Town & Country Magazine, will celebrate the opening of the exhibit with a reception hosted by Shane Guffogg, Julian Sands, Jason Schwartzman, Nona Summers, Tara Summers, and Gloria Vanderbilt. Located at 8618 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, Calif., the exhibition will be open to the public today, June 13th through June 22nd, Weds-Fri 11am to 4pm and Sat 12-5pm and by appointment.

American director Wes Anderson has built colorful, beautifully realized worlds in his seven feature films, from his stunning debut Bottle Rocket to his latest Cannes Film Festival opening feature, Moonrise Kingdom. From today, May 18 through 27, 2012, Museum of the Moving Image will present a Wes Anderson retrospective including all of his features and the short Hotel Chevalier, as well as a special screening of Orson Welles's The Magnificent Ambersons-a film that inspired Anderson. Each screening in the series will open with a personal video introduction by Wes Anderson.
