Ars Nova's 10th Anniversary Celebration Takes Place Tonight by BWW News Desk - May 20, 2013
Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) has announced its 10th Anniversary Celebration, a benefit to support Ars Nova?s extensive artistic development initiatives and programming, hosted by Celia Keenan-Bolger. The evening's entertainment, directed by Rachel Chavkin, features performances by a bevy of standout artists and productions from Ars Nova's first ten years including: Bridget Everett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Freestyle Love Supreme, Judy Gold, Joe Iconis and the cast of Bloodsong of Love, the cast of Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Jollyship the Whiz-Bang, Varsity Interpretive Dance Squad and more. Ars Nova has announced the lineup for its 6th Annual ANT Fest. This year's festival of All New Talent runs from June 3 - 29, featuring fresh new work from some of New York's most exciting emerging artists. From trapeze thrillers to hip-hop basketball musicals, 2013's ANT Fest heats up Ars Nova this summer with four weeks of comedy, music, theater and a fusion of all three you won't see anywhere else. For ANT Fest 2013, Ars Nova welcomes NBC as a sponsor. The network joins longtime sponsors Two Boots Pizza and Brooklyn Brewery and will be sponsoring this year's Fest as part of its ongoing commitment to inclusion in the arts. (more...)
