Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban & More to Perform at CMT MUSIC AWARDS

The 2013 CMT Music Awards is turning up the volume as Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, George Strait, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum will perform during this year's live show on Wednesday, June 5 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com. They will join country superstars Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Pistol Annies and Taylor Swift, who were announced as performers last week. Presenters will be announced soon. (more...)

Event organizers for the First Annual Delta Country Jam Music Festival held a press conference today (May 7,) at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN, announcing megastar Tim McGraw to headline the two-day music extravaganza that will take place in Tunica, MS, October 4-5 on the Abbay & Leatherman Plantation. As part of an overall deal to help support marketing and production of this project, Sony Music Nashville has struck a deal with Average Joes Entertainment to produce country remix albums of new and existing Sony Music catalogue. Winners have been announced for the 48th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, a star-studded ceremony broadcast LIVE tonight on the CBS Television Network from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Fans named Luke Bryan, Entertainer of the Year, the evening's biggest honor and his first win in that category.
