Tony Award winner Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots, The Normal Heart) and Karyl Lynn Burns (The Best is Yet to Come) present the New York premiere of Wiesenthal, the award-winning play written by and starring Tom Dugan and directed by Jenny Sullivan. Wiesenthal launches a limited 14-week engagement, from tonight, October 24 through February 1, at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row, (410 W. 42nd Street). Opening night is November 5.

Wareham are thrilled to present the second show of their 2014-2015 season, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING by Joan Didion and directed by Jenny Sullivan (Steel Magnolias). 'To have Linda Purl on our stage with one of the more powerful pieces of theatre I have come across is just a triumph that our audiences and subscribers are going to treasure,' offers Wood. 'Jenny Sullivan is quite simply one of our best theatre directors working today and to have her bring her magic touch to the powerful words of Joan Didion is simply a dream realized,' adds Wareham. H2O stars two of RVA's finest young talents, Liz Earnest (Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music, Closer) and RTCC Award nominee Landon Nagel (Guys and Dolls, Children of a Lesser God, Detroit), with Morrie Piersol (Edmond, The Late Henry Moss, A Bright New Boise) at the helm as director.

5th Wall Theatre, headed by Artistic Director Carol Piersol, announces a new theatre endeavor and 5th Wall's inaugural season. Following the December 2012 controversy of Ms. Piersol's departure from Firehouse Theatre Project, Ms. Piersol, along with 5th Wall's Associate Artistic Director, Billy Christopher Maupin, began producing shows in partnership with other Richmond flagship companies. Together they produced BREAST IN SHOW with Virginia Repertory Theatre, GIDION'S KNOT, presented at HATTheatre, RACE with African American Repertory Theatre, and PATTI ISSUES with Richmond Triangle Players.

Seattle Repertory Theatre announced today the appointment of Marya Sea Kaminski as Associate Artistic Director, effective Sept.16, 2014. Kaminski, who most recently taught acting at Cornish College of the Arts, has appeared as an actor and solo performer throughout Seattle and beyond, including roles at the Rep in My Name is Rachel Corrie (2007) and Clybourne Park (2012).

The Weird Sisters Theatre Project continue their 2014 summer season with Late: A Cowboy Song by Sarah Ruhl at Actor's Express theatre, July 21-August 5. The play is an early work of the award-winning playwright about perpetually late Mary, a woman who is desperately searching to find herself.

Marin Theatre Company's artistic director Jasson Minadakis has announced that Lauren Gunderson's I and You, which premiered at Marin Theatre Company in October with support from the National New Play Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund, and Martín Zimmerman's Seven Spots on the Sun, which won MTC's 2012 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize and received a public staged reading at MTC in June 2013, have been selected as finalists for the 2014 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award.
