Tonight, February 10th at 7:30pm, Schimmel Center at Pace University will present an evening with The Julian Bliss Septet as they present A Tribute to Benny Goodman.

When The Intergalactic Nemesis Live-Action Graphic Novel premiered, more than 2,100 people turned out. Shortly thereafter, it was featured on NPR and Conan O'Brien. Now, in its third touring season, the production has hit more than 80 venues around the US, UK, and Canada, including a run at the New Victory Theatre on Broadway. With awards season underway, “The Big Short” has just been nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Golden Globe Awards ®, including a nomination for Carell in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category for his portrayal of Mark Baum. This marks his eighth Golden Globe Award nomination and the first in this category. The film hits theaters in New York and Los Angeles on Friday, December 11th and nationwide on December 23rd.

In his seventh concert at Pace, Fred Barton now brings the power of Mercer's music and lyrics front and center, with a 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 16 Broadway singers and dancers, with direction and choreography by Scott Thompson. The cast is headlined by Damon Kirsch, Tony nominee Lee Roy Reams, two time Tony nominee Vivian Reed, Nick Spangler, Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham, and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba. The cast also features Jesse Luttrell, Sean McGibbon and Molly Pope.
