SWAN LAKE MARIINSKY LIVE to Play Movie Theatres in 3D This June

Bringing Russia's world renowned ballet company to U.S. movie theaters nationwide, Cameron Pace along with NCM Fathom Events and Omniverse Vision Ltd. present a stunning new re-interpretation of Tchaikovsky's famous masterpiece with "Swan Lake Mariinsky Live*" from the Mariinsky Theatre. Broadcast live in both 2-D and RealD 3-D from the historic Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia on Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. local time, this exclusive event will be led by multi-award winning Artistic Director Valery Gergiev. Mariinsky's principle ballerina and the latest brilliant star from the company, Ekaterina Kondaurova, will star in the main role as Odette. Texas A&M University's MSC OPAS Announces Upcoming Season

Texas A&M University's MSC OPAS has announced the events coming to the 2013-14 "Sparks Will Fly" season. The organization unveiled a roster of performances to be presented from September 2013 to April 2014 that includes eight events on the Ann Cobb Wiatt Main Stage series, five on the Intimate Gatherings series, two on the OPAS JR series and two on the new OPAS Family series. Explorer and filmmaker James Cameron and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) have formed a partnership to stimulate advances in ocean science and technology and build on the historic breakthroughs of the 2012 Cameron-?led DEEPSEA CHALLENGE expedition exploring deep-ocean trenches. The announcement comes on the one-year anniversary of Cameron's unprecedented solo dive to 35,787 feet, almost 11,000 meters, to the deepest place on Earth - the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench - in the vertically-deployed vehicle he and his team engineered, the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible system and science platform.
