Yale Repertory Theatre has announced that two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest will return to Yale Rep in Samuel Beckett's HAPPY DAYS, staged by Artistic Director James Bundy. Jarlath Conroy will join Wiest in the production, which runs April 29-May 21 at Yale Repertory Theatre. Opening Night is set for Thursday, May 5.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE announces its 50th Anniversary Season, which will include three world premieres commissioned by Yale Rep and two contemporary masterpieces.

The 100th Birthday Party was held on January 11, 2016, at Feinstein's/54 Below, featuring cocktails, dinner, and a one-night-only concert celebrating The Drama League and 100 years of service to the American Theatre. The Drama League will celebrate a major milestone tonight that few organizations have achieved…its 100th year of service to the American theatre community. The 100th Birthday Party will be held tonight,January 11, 2016 at Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street, Cellar).  The sold-out celebration will include cocktails, dinner, speeches and musical performances recognizing the history, achievements, and future of the award-winning arts education organization.  

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director), the internationally celebrated professional theatre in residence at Yale School of Drama and champion of new work since its founding in 1966, marks the 2015-16 season with three world premiere productions at its home in New Haven and five Yale Rep-commissioned plays scheduled for runs in Los Angeles, La Jolla, and New York City.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a community engagement initiative, 'The Individual & American Society: Celebrating Arthur Miller at One Hundred,' September 24 through October 26. The series of events, many of which are free-of-charge, will run concurrently with the Playhouse's production of Miller's 'Broken Glass,' directed by Mark Lamos. The Tony Award-nominated play takes place at the time of Kristallnacht, The Night of Broken Glass, in Nazi Germany, as a Brooklyn Jewish couple's marriage begins to shatter.

The Drama League, embarking on a landmark year of celebration commemorating its 100 years of service to the American theater, announced today The Drama League Centennial Gala set for Monday evening, November 2, 2015 at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue). YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA has established two new scholarships with a $100,000 gift from The Frederick Loewe Foundation: the Frederick Loewe Musical Theatre Scholarship, which will be awarded to a playwriting student who demonstrates particular interest in musical theatre composition; and the Frederick Loewe Directing Scholarship in honor of Floria V. Lasky.
