Douglas Hodge stars as Willy Wonka in the brand-new production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. Directed by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes, the story is brought to life with music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (Grammy winners for Hairspray; Smash), with a book by award-winning playwright and adaptor David Greig (The Bacchae; Tintin In Tibet). According to Deadline.com, stage and screen star Matthew Broderick has signed on for an untitled comedy for CBS. The project will be directed by James Burrows and will center on Jack (played by Broderick) 'a recently widowed father who raises his 12-year old son while jumping back into the dating pool.'

A Christmas Story, The Musical arrived on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre just in time for the 2012 holiday season. Based on the 1983 movie perennial, the musical plays an eight-week limited engagement through December 30.
