MOLA: An Association of Music Performance Librarians is honoring American conductor JoAnn Falletta with the 2023 Eroica Award for Outstanding Service to Music.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts presents a fresh lineup for its 2023–24 season, filled with a diverse range of voices, talents and perspectives from around the world, including artists from Sweden, Russia, Australia, Canada, Ireland and the United States. 

The Lied Center’s 2023-2024 season will feature more than 30 events including top artists and ensembles from around the world in dance, classical music, jazz, musical theater, comedy, family, illusion, and more.  

Renowned ukulele virtuoso and composer Jake Shimabukuro is returning to Las Vegas for a special performance at Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station on Friday, July 07, 2023 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $42.50 plus applicable fees and go on sale Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10 a.m.

The Nashua Center for the Arts, a brand new state-of-the-art performing arts venue in downtown Nashua, NH will open its doors to the public next month with over 20 concerts and shows on the schedule with more to come.  

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts is known for its festive holiday performances, and this year's diverse offerings include everything from theatrical comedy to mariachi music to classical classics. 

MUSE/IQUE continues its adventurous yearlong concert series, L.A. Composed: A Festival of Los Angeles Music, with Grand Avenue led by Artistic Director Rachael Worby and featuring the returns of Savion Glover, named by Dance Spirit magazine as one of the 13 Best Tap Dancers in History, and Charles Yang, recipient of the 2018 Leonard Bernstein Award and described by The Boston Globe as one who 'plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.'

New York Festival of Song (NYFOS), led by Artistic Director Steven Blier, opens its 2022-23 Mainstage Series with HEROES on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 8:00pm at Merkin Hall, co-presented by Kaufman Music Center.

Landmark on Main Street, located on Main Street in Port Washington, opens its 2021-22 Season with a line-up of live musical talent including singer/songwriter Ben Folds (August 29), a multi-media trip back in time with the popular Sixties Show (Sept 11), Indie Folk Rockers Carbon Leaf (Sept 12), John Pizzarelli & Catherine Russell's Billie and Blue Eyes (Sept 24), Gaelic Storm (Oct 9), Jake Shimabukuro (Oct 13), Joan Osborne (Nov 13) and Alan Doyle (Feb 25).

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts presents a fresh lineup for its 2022–23 season, filled with concerts and performances for a wide range of tastes, from eclectic to traditional, featuring everything from Grammy-winning artists in jazz, classical and global music to Broadway greats, expressive contemporary dance, laugh-out-loud comedy, and family shows for the young and young-at-heart. Single tickets will be on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022. 

The new season includes an assortment of iconic superstars, innovative tribute shows, dance, jazz, comedy, plus a robust music, holiday and variety lineup, one of the best Broadway seasons in years and more than two dozen shows making their McCallum debuts. Spanish folk musician Germán López is set to open for Judy Collins on March 7th at the Lensic Theatre in Santa Fe. His own show, Canela y Limón (Cinnamon and Lemon), is set to play on Wednesday, March 9th at 7:30pm at Chatter.

Anchorage Concert Association has announced that all shows for its 2021/2022 line-up will be on sale November 16 at noon: global guitar phenoms International Guitar Night (Jan 14-15), cutting edge comedians The Second City (Jan.15), ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro (Jan. 29), live storytellers The Moth Mainstage (Feb. 9), Scottish folk powerhouse Talisk (Feb. 11), acapella sensation Straight No Chaser ( Mar. 5), cabaret diva Meow Meow (Mar. 18), folk-roots duo The Small Glories (Mar. 25), quintessential Cajun band BeauSoleil (Apr. 2), Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I (April 26-May 1), genre bending Postmodern Jukebox (May 7), and bestselling author David Sedaris (May 15). These will be in addition to the four upcoming shows that are currently on sale: Grammy Award-winning musician Chris Thile (Nov. 12), new gods of Irish music Lúnasa (Dec. 11), international sensation STOMP (Feb 1-6), and classical pop mashup masters The Piano Guys (May 14). All shows will be at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will return to Mayo Performing Arts Center to perform fan favorites, music from his new release and holiday hits with a Hawaiian twist. Jake Shimabukuro: Christmas in Hawaii comes to MPAC on Wednesday, November 17 at 7:30 pm.
