CLYBOURNE PARK is not an easy play on which to slap a label. Part drama, part social history, part cultural commentary, woven together with humor that, in turn, inspires laughter, makes you wince, or leaves you squirming uncomfortably in your seat, this is not your usual theatrical fare. Also well-crafted (it won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for drama) provocative and thought- provoking, Bruce Norris's play is an experience not to be missed.

FUSION Theatre Company, New Mexico's professional theatre company, has announced that playwright Eric Eberwein is one of the seven winners of FUSION's seventh annual short works festival, "The Seven". Huntington Beach resident Eberwein's work, "The Return Engagement", was chosen from a submission pool of 748 scripts from 43 states and nine countries. FUSION will produce the world-premiere of Mr. Eberwein's play tonight, June 7th through June 10th at The Cell Theatre in Albuquerque, NM. "The Seven" is the theatrical tentpole event of the Savor Albuquerque Arts Festival.
